Here is an early fire extinguisher that has it's original metal cap and metal bracket for mounting. This vintage, honey amber colored tube style extignuisher measures 11 inches tall. It has a unique shape with 12 long panels no the center section and plain panels near the top & base.
The base has a 'diamond-i' emblem, denoting it was made by illinois glass company, pre 1929. It has it's original metal, crimped cap, with an attached bracket that looks like it would have attached to the wall. hTere is no name embossed on this example, probably had a paper label for fire stop or a similiar brand.
This one is in excelletn condition. The glass is excellent with some nice color. The metal cap and bracket are somewhat rusted, still has much of the original black paint.
